Grandfather would call her Carolyn I’m pretty sure she hated it
I call her Ahn*dree*uh but most people call her Dre
Robbie is only Robbie to us
And my name is already a nickname but I have a few

Raque Ford (b. 1986, Columbia, Maryland) lives and works in New York. She received her BFA from Pratt Institute (2010) and her MFA from Mason Gross School of Arts at Rutgers University (2013) . She recently presented a solo show “It’s all about me forget about you” at Species in Atlanta, Georgia. She recently completed a residency at International Studio & Curatorial Program in NY that culminated into the solo project “Your’s Truly Georgia Brown”. She has been included in group shows at Sculpture Center, NY, 321 Gallery, Brooklyn, Galerie Division Montreal, AALA Gallery, Los Angeles and Kimberly Klark, NY.
